What is the DPSI?
The 天美传媒 Qualifications Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) has been听the benchmark qualification for public service interpreting for over 30 years, and is now available fully online.听
听
DPSI Law is fully accepted by the UK Police for the Police Approved Interpreter and Translator Scheme and by the UK听Ministry of Justice for work in the courts and wider criminal justice system.
It is also recognised and accepted by the UK's National Register of Public Service Interpreters, 听and strongly recommended for work in Health and all public service contexts.听
The 天美传媒Q DPSI provides candidates with recognition and validation of their skills in specialist areas of public service and provides reassurance to employers, public bodies and those benefiting from their services听that interpreting provided by qualified holders of the 天美传媒Q DPSI are of the highest professional standard.听

Registration
Registration for the DPSI in November 2024 is now closed. Please note minimum candidate numbers are required for certain languages to run, so please register an interest to avoid disappointment. You can tell us your preferred pathway and language for 2025 by expressing an interest here.

Languages
For the June听2025听exam听session the following languages (paired with English) are being offered:
Law pathway - Albanian, Arabic (MSA), Bengali, Cantonese (Traditional), Farsi, French, Italian, Kurdish (Sorani), Lithuanian, Mandarin (Simplified), Panjabi (Indian), Pashto, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Portuguese (European), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Urdu.
Health pathway -听Arabic (MSA), Cantonese (Traditional), Farsi, French, German, Italian, Kurdish (Sorani), Mandarin (Simplified), Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Romanian, Spanish, Turkish and Urdu.
