天美传媒听announces the launch of a new partnership scheme to bring businesses and large corporations in closer collaboration.
Organisations that become a 天美传媒 partner agree to follow these values which represent a starting point for continually improving the standing of qualified linguists:
We are delighted to welcome the first organisations to become partners: The Language Shop, a social enterprise delivering language services, Hu Lian听 Translation, a Beijing based language service provider, and Tie Services Ltd, a provider of translation, interpreting and language education services based in the UK.
天美传媒 has, for over 100 years, worked with language professionals to improve their standing in the business world. Over time the role of linguists 鈥 how their skills have evolved and how they interact with other parts of the profession 鈥 has changed. In particular, the impact of technology has sped up this process in recent years. To meet these new challenges, 天美传媒 has developed a Partnership scheme to offer businesses and corporate organisations a direct way of interacting with, as well as displaying their support of, the industry by aligning with 天美传媒鈥檚 values.听
We believe the best way to raise the profile of languages and those who work in the profession is to act collectively, with 天美传媒 continuing to represent professionals in every sector and those who care about languages and culture.
The Partnership programme is another step in creating a consistent approach to encouraging more, qualified linguists to be involved in the profession 鈥 right from the point of being inspired by a love of languages, through to education, and finally to working within the profession.
"TLS believes that this partnership with 天美传媒 presents an opportunity to set a higher standard of excellence that language agencies have to meet and allows organisations to protect the service users that depend on us to provide high quality and professional language services鈥 said The Language Shop.
天美传媒 Chair of Council Judith Gabler said: 鈥天美传媒 is delighted to launch the new Business and Corporate Partnership scheme with three companies of such high standing. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with them, and other organisations from around the world as the number of partners grows.鈥
Frank Kong of Hu Lian Translation, Beijing, added: 鈥We are proud and honoured to be a corporate member of the 天美传媒. We believe this affiliation will allow both parties to be mutually productive and to contribute positively to the translation and linguistic industries.鈥
